I was born in Italy in 1966. I hold a BA in dance and choreography, from the School for New Dance Development, a department of the Amsterdam Theaterschool. I have worked since 1993 as a dancer and a choreographer in several projects in Holland, Italy, Slovenia, Germany and Finland. I live in Helsinki since summer 2001 and since then I have been part in over 20 dance projects as well as been active as a teacher.

My views on choreography and composition are mainly inspired by the encounters with Susan Rethorst, Katie Duck, and Julyen Hamilton. Improvisation/Instant Composition is the main interest and influence in my work both as a dancer and a choreographer and it has been part of many of the projects I have been involved in the past few years. I am also one of the co-founders of the group RIO – Real Time Orchestra, which focuses its activity on practice, research and performance of instant composition.

Since January 2006 I have been organizing and curating The Helsinki Meeting Point, a dance and music improvisation club held monthly at Kokoteatteri in Helsinki.
