The Helsinki Meeting Point is a free improvisation event where dance and music meet. The performers of each event are selected professionals that will meet for the first time a few hours before the show. This group of dancers and musicians is creating together a unique journey of sound, body and choreography. Two improvised sessions of 30min each, where creativity, intuition and instant composition create a fresh, inspiring and entertaining performance. The HMP's main purpose is to cultivate unlimited free improvisation in Helsinki. The HMP is a Giorgio Convertito production and is supported by the Arts Council of Finland.
